07/28/13 – Refreshed By-weekly2013-07-28T00:00:00VW_Taxparcel is a spatial view that combines parcel geometry fields from Landuse (Cadastral) Geodatabase with MD State Dept of Assessment & Taxation (SDAT) assessment fields into a single layer; provides to GIS users parcel ownership and assessment information.
Assessment attributes are shown only for parcels with valid tax account IDs; invalid tax account IDs will show null assessment attributes.
Assessment attributes shown correspond to the tax account ID assigned to a parcel; if a parcel has been assigned the wrong account ID it will show the wrong assessment attributes for that feature.
In ArcMap, areas containing multiple accounts will identify only one account by default, however the identify tool will work properly on these areas if the primary display field is set to “TAXPIN” in the active map document. This is not an issue when using the view out of DataQuery as the primary display field is saved with the source layer file
